TONE SQUAD is a World Fusion Band from france. Formed in 2015 at the Music Academy International in France by the Berklee college of Music class students. There aim is to create harmonically & rythmically interesting instrumental pieces but in a short-lenght "pop" type of song format.

TONE SQUAD's influences are Modern Fusion (Snarky puppy, Dirty loops); Hip-Hop(Chris dave & the drumhedz, Kendrick Lamar); Neo Soul(Robert Glasper, Zayn Mohammed); World Music (Nguyen Lê, Gilberto Gil); Jazz (Pat Metheny Group, Jonathan Kreisberg); Soul (Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5);

Pop (Beyonce, Ariana Grande); Prog metal/rock (Steven Wilson, Animals As Leaders) but also John Williams, Frank Zappa, B.on.It, Björk, Daft Punk...
